FAQ for Members:
Who is eligible to use career services?
Training-eligible 32BJ members in the NYC metro area.
Is there a confidentiality policy?
Yes. Respecting the privacy of our members and of the 32BJ Training Fund itself is a basic value of 32BJ Training. Personal and educational information is confidential and should not be disclosed or discussed with anyone without permission or authorization from the member. Care shall also be taken to ensure that unauthorized individuals do not overhear any discussion of confidential information and that documents containing confidential information are not left in the open or inadvertently shared.
Is career services a hiring hall?
No, Career Services is not a hiring hall and therefore does not provide recruits to employers who have a collective bargaining agreement with 32BJ. Employers hire candidates directly and if hired, they can then join the union (and take classes at the Training Fund after their waiting period is over).

Sign up for an appointment and I’ll help you search these sites for positions and provide more industry specific job search tips.
How do I get information on writing resumes and cover letters?
Sign up for an appointment to critique your resume and cover letter.
